The 2019 St Hugo Cabernet Sauvignon is a rich and structured Barossa Cabernet that balances concentrated dark fruit with firm tannins and classic varietal character.
Deep garnet in colour, the nose offers blackcurrant, plum and dark cherry interwoven with cedar, tobacco leaf and subtle spice. On the palate, generous dark fruit flows into resolute structure, firm but polished tannins and lively acidity lend definition and length.
This Cabernet is both approachable now with decanting and worthy of medium-term cellaring.
