Yarra Yering Dry Red Wine No.1 2017

The 2017 Yarra Yering Dry Red No. 1 is a consummate expression of Yarra Valley terroir and old-school claret style, showcasing why this blend remains one of Australia’s benchmark Cabernet-led wines. Predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon with supporting Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot, this vintage balances power with precision in a strikingly refined fashion.

In the glass, the wine displays a deep, medium-ruby hue with a lifted bouquet of dark berries; cassis, blackberry and blueberry intertwined with sage, bay leaf and subtle herbal lift. Oak spice and gentle cedary tones add complexity without overshadowing the fruit core.
